Ryohei Sasagawa had anything but an easy life he has had hardships but he NEVER lets them keep him down for long anyway. Growing up in a household with two loving parents and an adorable baby sister whom he dotes unlike there is nothing else in the world but her oh and BOXING. The man is all about his boxing. When he is introduced to Tsuna in middle school one would never expect this guy to be blood kin to Kyoko honestly he looks more like Tsuna's father then Tsuna does while Tsuna looks like Kyoko. But let’s leave that alone. Anyway Back to Kyoko the precious sister. In Elementary school she was used as a trap by some high schoolers who didn't like young Ryohei and used her to lure him out. He had no choice but to walk into the trap to save her at the cost of a scar over his eyebrow and hospitalization, he also devolved short term memory loss from this happening. He was made to promise Kyoko that if he fought he would NEVER lose.

This is something he held too, He grew up to be so EXTREME. No really the boy followed his sister and Tsuna on a date to the zoo just for the chance to try and fight a bear but ended up fighting a lion instead because it almost went for Kyoko. Knocking it out he gave himself the nickname of "Lionist Punch" yeah he’s kind of lame. This leads to when his teeth were ripped out 5 of them by the Kokyo Gang this is when Tsuna discovered that Kyoko's older brother is a terrible lair and not only that but she believes every word he says of it but always seems to show a little bit of concern. Being out of commission for that fight Ryohei was fully rested for the next huge battle.

The Varia, Where Ryohei was paired up with one of Reborn [whom he calls Master Pao Pao]'s "friends" Colonello one of the Arcobolenos. He was trained by the Spartan baby to fight one of the elite assassins known as Lussuriaa kick boxer. Ryohei grew very close to Colonello and was said to have increased his strength 10x enough that when Colonello shot him with the special gun he was able to punch a boulder and make it explode. So he thought he was MORE than ready to face the man. The man was a colorful characters as well a necrophiliac homosexual whom expressed interest in "taking the cute boy home with him!" This put Ryohei off a lot. He soon found out that no matter the training he had he was at a disadvantage when the judges flipped on huge blinding bright lights and made him fight when he couldn’t see. His friends couldn’t even give him sunglasses or risk disqualifying him.

He managed to take out the lights by his own dehydration punching upwards missing the man he was aiming for on purpose so the sweat off his body would destroy the lights. This spooked the gay member of the Varia but not for long. Ryohei ended up messing up his normal arm thanks to a metal knee cap to the fist but when Colonello showed up he was told he could use the other he trained with now, he still hurt himself again but not as bad because he used the Maximum Sun Canon! Victory did come for Sasagawa when his baby sister showed up and kept asking what he was doing helping him find his resolve when she is around he can be at 100% which says a lot for a man constantly in Dying Will naturally. So he used the REAL Maximum sun cannon! and destroyed Lussuria's knee cap taking him down. Being named official Sun Guardian of the Vongola Family.

Well here’s where things switch up on us because from this point all we knows is a tiny bit at some point in the 10 years that passed Ryohei calmed the hell down a bit he is still extreme this changed most likely happened when his master Colonello was murdered and he and Lal Mirch were left to pick up the pieces. Ryohei also at some point found out that they were not playing a game that he really had joined the mafia and took it very seriously, and started a relationship with his sister's best friend Hana weather they are married or not is debatable how this came about is completely unknown as of yet in cannon.

Ahh here we are now, welcome to the world of Ten Years Later where Tsuna showed up to find out he was dead, lucky kid there. Well Ryohei happened to not be where Tsuna was right away in fact he had been with none other than Lussuria on business we also find out during a battle that Lussuria has thought Ryohei to battle like him, his kick boxing footwork. Anyway when Ryohei does show up it is because he saved Chrome Dokuro and was bringing her and a message back to Tsuna. He helped get everyone ready for the impending mission He was there as support and guidance for Tsuna when the team was split up he went with Gokudera not by choice but this time away from the others helped show that though they may have been at each other’s threats as teens as an adult Ryohei has realized he was a hot head and is okay with Gokudera only wanting the best for the kid which is why he used his box to bind the guy and fight Gamma until he was knocked unconscious just to protect him.
